A small metal star lantern with a glass cup inside for a tealight — the kind of thing that works on a mantelpiece from October through to January without ever looking out of place. The star shape is cut cleanly from the metal so the candlelight comes through the whole form when it's lit, which is a better effect than a punched-hole pattern. It hangs or stands — a hook at the top, a flat base at the bottom — so it can go in a window, on a shelf or grouped with other candle holders depending on where it's needed.
Why you'll love it
Hangs or stands — hook at the top for a window or branch; flat base to stand on a shelf or mantelpiece; genuinely versatile
Open star silhouette — the whole shape glows when lit; a more complete effect than a punched-star pattern
Glass cup insert — holds the tealight securely and protects the flame; a neater finish than bare wire
Works autumn through winter — neutral enough to sit alongside Halloween pieces in October and Christmas pieces in December without clashing
